Re: Battle's hit/ejection... I didn't take issue with it. But, it was basically a 1 for 1, because Ruckert was a non-factor after that.
Only issue I had was when one of their safeties hit Najee basically the same damn way on the catch right and no flag or no review was given. If you are going to call it, call it!!!
Think his bell was ringing the rest of the night....I saw him stop by their medical tent on the sideline and order a happy meal.
That was “textbook “ targeting. I guess because Najee stayed up & defender fell down, they saw it differently. Replay should have stopped to review.
Well, thankfully, none of their white LB's got ejected.
Felt kinda bad ( like an ol' southern grandma's "bless his heart" moment) watching Tuf try to catch Devonta on the TD, but that faded out about the time Smitty crossed the goal line, but with a name like Tuf I'm not thinking he's built for speed.
