With McKinney announcing, it's pretty clear who we have.....

DE: Byron Young, Justin Ebogibe
DE: Christian Barmore, Phidarian Mathis, Braylen Ingrahma
NG: DJ Dale, Stephon Wynn, P Mathis

MLB: Moses, S. Lee, Markhail Benton
Will: Shane Harris, Ale Kaho, Jaylen Moody
Jack: Ben Davis, King Mwikuta
Sam: Chris Allen, K Harris

CB Patrick Surtain, Jaylyn Armour-Smith
CB: Ronald Williams, Josh Jobe, Marcus Banks
SS: Daniel Wright, DeMarco Hellams
FS: Jordan Battle

Other questions:

Will Labryan Ray play? How bad is his injury?
Will Cameron Latu move back to Jack?
Will Nigel Knott be able to compete?
Will Josh McMillon choose to play?
Will Sopsher get off his ass and work?

Regardless, the secondary will be quite green, and the D-line won't be much more experienced

I feel marginally better about that group of linebackers. Barmore have any relatives that play?

Hopefully, the injury bug stays away and we can be aggressive with our front 7. Our DB’s cannot be expected to cover someone forever.

Thanks @bradenob! Great topic

A few positions that could be impacted by incoming or RS freshman... Jack & Sam, and Strong Safety.

Chris Allen is obviously going to be in the rotation, but after that there's a lot of snaps up for grabs. Drew Sanders to me is a shoe-in to get on the field. Braswell & Anderson are good candidates.

At safety I don't know. Wasn't too impressed in the little time Wright was on the field. The only thing I remember from Hellams was when McKinney's helmet came off and he looked super lost against LSU. But he didn't get much of a chance. After that, maybe Branch as a frosh in the mix.

DL is looking pretty salty though. Especially if we can get Ray back

Noted.

Offense should be great again so not worried about USCw. UGA should be good on the O line so hate to think we have to depend on freshmen to rush there, biut it is what it is. Frtom will have some WRs back as well so that's a tough early test

I think it'll be a much improved group overall... especially if bo Davis comes back as rumored. I think we roll Georgia to be honest and I like the o line we have returning to give us that ground and pound mindset again.

I think the defense will be improved. I really hope we don’t have to hire a new DC.

So, is it set in stone that Dylan Moses will not be back?

Depending on incoming freshmen to come in and start at some positions isn't a great plan but that has to happen in 2020. That happened for us in 2008 with Mark, Julio, and Donta so a guy can wish. The new guys don't have to be All-Americans but they have to be better than those on the roster.

I look for changes to be made on the staff soon then again maybe I am just Wishin and Hopin (Dusty Springfield)

I feel pretty good about the defense next year. Especially if Moses makes the right call in 2 weeks. The turnaround may not be spectacular, but it should be an improved D nonetheless.

From what I heard, and ONLY what I heard, he was, and continued to be, out of shape, and unlike Byron Young, did not get into playing shape to contribute, despite being highly recruited.

Haha... I see your point.

However I don't see anything wrong with adding the depth to that particular position. If there's one thing we missed it was some good competition this year! He will bring a legit option which is great... Just hoping C. Harris blossoms into the player he's capable of also!
