Ended up going to OxTown last night to eat so the butts fell off the menu. Smoking grocery store boudin and doing some wings and fries

Heading up to Kalispell first thing Saturday to pickup the studded snow tires I ordered from Discount Tire, just gotta make it back in time for the game . Snow on the mountains already, should make for a pretty drive.

Burgers w/ bacon, some kind of spicy cheese, an egg, and a spicy mayo mix. Our default burger these days ¯\(ツ)

Just bought a crock-pot, chili will soon be on the menu.

I honestly have no idea. Probably burgers here as well and hopefully some boiled peanuts if the dude that sells them near me is set up this Saturday morning.

I can't say I remember even hearing of boiled peanuts until I moved to SC and there were more than a handful of farms in N AL who had crops. I'm not a big fan, but have to say a local guy here has some really good Cajun flavors. He runs his little trailer/food truck set up seven days a week; five off the I and two at the flea market.

Crazy story? My uncle buys them every time he visits the Lowcountry. Not to eat, mind you, but as a car freshner. Seriously, he likes to put them on his dashboard so his car will smell like peanuts. I. Don't. Get. It.

No doubt. He grew up outside of Athens on a farm that had peanuts growing. In fact, now that I think about it, the first time I was shocked by an electric fence was pulling up a peanut plant; backed right into that joker I was pulling so hard.

Being from South GA, green peanuts are the only acceptable boiled peanuts. If you want the real caviar of peanuts try to find the purple hull or Valencia variety. We are boiling the big jumbo ones in Alabama. I am going to GA in a couple of weeks. Will get 25 lbs to cook. Yum

Pimento cheese sandwiches. Some local stuff...yep. Remember, we're getting close to Master's week. I've never had theirs, but I understand...

Tabasco is a must.
