I don't believe we have went more than a few weeks without mosquitoes around here. Been a very warm winter so far. I expect a bad cold snap in February or March

Same. Saw a couple today on the back porch earlier. It's currently 73°. I hate them.

It's supposed to get down in the 20s in a couple nights, here. Hopefully that'll kill any that are around at the moment.

It's 66° and believe me I don't mind wearing shorts in January. It'll probably hit 80° today. I'm not sure which caught me off guard the most: the mosquitos or the bull frog mating calls.

Last year our two/three weeks of 'winter' came in February. On one end I hope the cold we had in December will be it for the year. But good lord, if it is? It'll be a crazy bug and weed season (not to mention allergies.)
