Did you know that Tide detergent and Tide (as in Crimson) have nothing to do with each other? Some claim that the person that formulated Tide detergent went to Alabama, but that's not true.

@OldPlayer I've never thought about it in a serious tense. Cool set of cards there

What is NASCAR? Sounds like something a soy boy would drive.

If you saw what I can I came across about a year ago you'd be shocked. I have to figure how to get rid of it... That card set earlier is one of 38. All of them have numbered cards; two of the three. Limited numbers, big names. The two in that set are $6-$8 a piece. You laugh 😝

I'm not a NASCAR fan. It's not Amazon stock. A shit load of small pieces.

I inherited a fleet of Dale Earnhardt cars from my father in law about 7 years ago. All still in the box. About 50+ of them. About 9 inches long, whatever that scale is. A few are Jr. and Harvick. You’d think someone would want these things. Even have a couple of bins full of other 3 collectibles that he had with it. No one wants the stuff. EBay, Craigslist, I’ve sold a couple for $10. I remember the day that kind of stuff and rookie baseball cards would being some serious cash.

I can empathize with you. I have 2 bins full of B. Labonte, Tony Stewart, Denny Hamlin, and a few misc, drivers of assorted memorabilia. I took them to Myrtle Beach in January to see if I could unload some of them. It was January, so a reduced amount of vendors, the only one I could even get to look at them told me no one is buying that stuff any more. He also said he had a whole garage full of NASCAR gear he can't get rid of. He said he could make me an offer, but it would probably really insult me, so those bins of 1:24, and 1:64 scale model cars are basically worthless. But I will keep the three Alabama Championship 1:24 scale models that were sponsored by Michael Waltrip from '09, '11, and '12 that ran at Talladega. Those are part of my Alabama memorabilia, so, they're safe.
ROLL TIDE.

I found a Kobe Bryant rookie card in my garaged boxes when my wife made me clean up the house a month or so ago. in perfect shape, in a protector. Funny because I collected baseball cards and must have been given a pack and got this one randomly. I probably have 15,000 baseball cards from early 80's to mid-90's.

And I had an offer last night on one of the drivers (Sterling Martin) we were going through. Reasonable, if you ask me, considering what's 'invested' in the collection.

Now try a 24' x 16' storage unit packed six to eight bins high...all of them full.

I grabbed this image off the web since I didn't take any last night due to the fading light...found two cases of these last night, still in original boxes.
