We shall see nothing. It is over. Trump will be Former President Trump soon and no wishful thinking will fix that. And I say that as someone who voted for him in 2016 and still defend most of what he has done. He got a bad rap from the media for sure but this pretending that he will magically be President for 4 more years is a pipe dream. It's over and he will be gone soon, maybe before inauguration day and maybe by choice.

POTUS angered a lot of powerful people that benefited from the status quo. No excuses for ANY violence but there has been a "reward" on his or head or if you prefer a "target" on his back from the start. I did not agree with many of his antics mainly with how he treated/talked to people and his constant self promotion but a lot about what he was saying about Washington and the media is true.

Speaking of powerful people that Trump angered, Pelosi wants blood and she will not stop until she gets it. Her party and the status quo have already won but she wants to castrate him. If she can oust him even one minute before the inauguration she will do so. Trying to put the nail in the coffin.

We with so little faith have more important things in life. God first then family. The antics in DC are spewing a mixture of truth and lies. A true patriot would not deface the capital but is it a start of a revolution? The democrats won but what did they get? Twitter stock fell as they loose members. Facebook is next

It’s not crucial to get him in the next 10 days. This is happening. Trump is fucked, and many who support him will go down with him.

The world now sees his supporters as traitors. And this is not the time to come together. It is time for accountability. And it also is coming.

Interestingly, he may be able to be impeached and found guilty even after he is out of office. Since the punishment can involve baring a person from holding office in the future, and Trump has said he would run again, it is very likely that the Democrats would seriously consider continuing impeachment even after he is out of office. Even more important, were he to step down and Pence pardon him that would not stop an impeachment from happening.

This is the end game. So if we can get out of the politics and emotions of this, if there are enough people in the USA to get him reelected as a political party, how can you just ignore that group? It is 70+ M strong. You can paint them all as racists lunatics but that is the easy way out. At some point you have to ask what is it they are not ok with in terms the of the direction of this country? Isolating them or shutting them down is not the long term answer. Doing that usually back fires on you.

Something I don't understand, Los Angeles has shut down, yet they allow these same citizens in lock down to fly to Montana.

Here’s something to brighten your day. When the president invites Alabama to the WH to celebrate their national championship, we’ll actually have a president with morals residing there.

Absolutely. We definitely do need to come together, right after people are held accountable.

Those of us who saw this coming won’t be lectured to by those who enabled this piece of shit for 4 years. He sewed nothing but division for 4 years and now that it’s all coming crashing down on him, it’s not the time to start preaching unity. Those responsible for last Wednesday need to be held accountable first. Period.

I think this is a misstep, strategically, by the Democrats. Keeping the potential for another Trump candidacy will continue to divert a significant, albeit shrinking, number of hard core acolytes away from Republican efforts to retake the House and Senate in 22 months. I think enough Republicans will join in the Senate's removal vote to be rid of him.

Counting ballots and not verified votes in a few states is what the outcome of this election was. I do wish that every vote was counted because that is our way of making sure we have morals. @ColAngus if Biden had any morals he would have demanded that all votes be verified so his election would be legitimate. Sending out unsolicited ballots just undermined the election integrity on so many levels. Now you have to live with it because elections have consequences. Claiming one person has morals but another one doesn't means nothing. It's like saying I use spray when I poop so my $hit don't stink.
