With how many false positives there are in some of the tests, it is stupid to put out a 21 day removal for any positive. The SEC rules are more science based than the feelings based Big10.

It's crazy how many false positives there are. Even in the NFL, it's happened numerous times this season where planned postponements were reversed because follow up tests show initial positives were false. It's interesting to me that in one of the most public segments of our society (these sports leagues) where re-testing is mandatory the ridiculously high percentage of false positives coming to light. Makes you wonder about the actual number of positives reported nationwide.

The sports world may be the one area that we get a real picture into what is going on. The desires of the fans, players and the athletic departments are trying to make it work. That may force it to be about the medical science as opposed to the journalist trying to create controversy.

Glad coach is ok. Unfortunately this has been a distraction but hopefully the kids responded to it in the right way. Here is hoping for much improvement on the Bama D and that the OL is able to handle UGA's DL/LB's and blitzes.

The overall infection rate is probably about right really even with the false positives. There are a lot of people who had it and never got tested. The real problem is when they try to take the reported rate and add people who weren't tested as an adjustment.

The naysayers and gore crows are losing their minds. Dinch is somewhere burning an Alabama wicker man

Well, first of all **** Dinich. But you're right. The national media was all over the positive test; you won't see nearly half the national coverage about Saban and the large number of false positives accrued in testing. None of this fits their narrative.

If you've read over any of the comments from fans today you've learned how little people know about C-19 as well as policies in place. I saw one lady mentioned she'd been tested five times, found positive five times, and couldn't understand why Saban didn't have to quarantine like she did.
