As of now, he'd have to be cleared, but there will likely be rule changes and amendments coming this spring (as usual) that may clear the way regardless.

I think the thing that has to be taken into consideration in regards to “the defense not being as good as past years” is that teams are running far far more plays nowadays than the past, so that’s going to translate into more yards for the offense from every team

Part of that is that they run more plays because the defense didn’t stop them.

Defenses aren’t going to stop today’s offenses all the time nor are they going to hold them to lower yards

When all of this started we all talked about who would be in control. As it ends up, we were right. It's not Sark's program.

OU, AL, and TX sources are reporting Sark's intention to hire Stoops was nixed by those around the Texas program. Boosters? Administration? Both are speculated.

I sort of get it...Big Game Bob and anyone related to the OU program will be living in their heads for years to come.
