To the dems and the rest of the never Trumpers he was almost the second coming.Maybe I'm just naive here but I never heard a single person prop him up as some "bastion of integrity." He was a dude representing a porn star that was paid off by the president. That's pretty much how I saw him portrayed. Yes, he wanted to pretend like he might run for president and there were a few commentators willing to roll with that stupidly but I think we can safely say running for president surely doesn't mean you have to have integrity anymore.
Let's not forget the eunuch Stelter was taking Avenatti as a serious 2020 presidential contender. For me that's where the 'entertainment' value is found in this whole story.
He was a purported 'bastion of integrity' just a few months ago by outlets like MSNBC, CNN, and others. But now that it's against NIKE?
You got me thinking a bit this morning here OP...and, while I can name a half of a dozen or more cases she's been involved with I can't name a single one where she's represented a man. Can you?Gloria doesn't care what color the ambulance is that she's chasing.
Which makes you wonder why she wouldn't waste her time with Stormy. She promotes herself as a "women's rights" attorney.
Just to make sure, you're trying to convince yourself, and anyone else following along, that the amount of money paid wasn't in line with what you think a billionaire (assuming Trump is one) would pay for hush money. Therefore, since it's below your threshold of what you think a philandering billionaire would pay in hush money, the story's not true. You're trying pretty hard.I'm sorry, but like Trump or hate him... You just HAVE to raise your eyebrow at the whole Horseface Daniels thing..
Here's a porn "star". Sells her body for money. Allegedly has sex with a BILLIONAIRE and only "agrees" to a 130k or 180k "payment" (whatever it was-a hundred and something) ?
And we're supposed to believe that? "Hush money" from a billionaire would be worth half a mill, AT LEAST.
Seems to me like that paltry sum was chump change to save PR from a mere "allegation". As in "he's known as a playboy, I've been photographed with him in public, and I am well known enough that enough people might believe me if I say we had sex. after all, sex is my job". Whatever paltry payment that COHEN paid her just seems like "shut up and go away money".
Plus, everyone that has known Trump for decades says that he's a one woman man, that he doesn't do one-off "flings". Yes, he's dated and probably slept with a lot of women. But the consensus from his circle of associates says that one-nighters is just not his thing.
