    Default Alabama vs South Carolina

So far we are 6-13 from the perimeter. Defense is tightening up and has forced like 16 turnovers. Cooper is playing like a monster, getting back into rhythm like he was back in November.

I hope this is what they play like this the rest of the way, if they do, we can beat Ole Miss and make a big run in the SEC tournament.

We're up 35-13 with 3 minutes to go in the 1st half

    Default Alabama vs South Carolina

Bama wins, improves to 9-3 in conference and 17-8 overall.

With the loss to Tenn today, #25 Kentucky falls to third overall in the SEC rankings: behind Florida and BAMA!!!

Good win tonight, even pulling back a bigger lead when USCe made a bit of a move.

It still looks like Bama could be 21-10, maybe 22-11 after the tourney, and still not make the tournament. The conference rankings have the SEC as the number eight conference right now, and with the teams playing each other there isn't much of a chance to change that. Is it possible that there will be only one team from the SEC make the big dance?

It is possible. I see a path for us. If we hold serve at home (likely) and take two out of three of our road games that getsus to 22-9 and 14-4, which would likely get us in. Mo. Can't win on the road, ditto Ark, Ky going in the wrong direction now.

    Current SEC rankings:

    1. Florida, 11-1 Conf., 21-3 overall
    2. Alabama, 9-3 Conf., 17-8 overall
    3. Ole Miss, 8-4 Conf., 19-6 overall
    4. Kentucky, 8-4 Conf., 17-8 overall
    5. Mizzou, 7-5 Conf., 18-7 overall
    6. Arkansas, 7-5 Conf., 16-9 overall
    7. LSU, 6-6 Conf., 15-8 overall
    8. Tennessee, 6-6 Conf., 14-10 overall
    9. Georgia, 6-6 Conf., 12-13 overall
    10. Texas A&M, 5-7 Conf., 15-10 overall
    11. Vandy, 4-8 Conf., 10-14 overall
    12. Auburn, 3-9 Conf., 9-16 overall
    13. South Carolina, 2-10 Conf., 12-13 overall
    14. Miss St., 2-10 Conf., 7-17 overall

I don't see Florida losing to Mizzou today .. We play a dreadful Miss St. tomorrow, should be a win if all goes well. Ole Miss and UK should also pick up wins tomorrow vs. South Carolina and Vandy respectively. Saturday we play at LSU, which could really go either way. I don't see Florida losing their game to Arky at home, either. Tuesday is the last game of the month, Alabama vs. Auburn.

I see us moving to at least 19-9 and remaining in 2nd at the end of the month. However, March will be nuts. There's a game at Florida, one at a spunky Ole Miss, and one vs. a lagging Georgia. I can definitely see us finishing 21-10 or better. An upset over Florida in their own house would be EPIC though. We just need a top 4 spot in the rankings to get a first round bye in the SEC tourney.

It's pretty sad we are ranked 8th in the conference rankings, and have only one team from the SEC in the top 25 .. Hopefully some signature wins by Bama can make the conference look a little better! Bama basketball could use a boost, too.

In order to make the Tourney, I think Bama will have to win out all the games besides UF and OM. Then at minimum get a split between those 2. If OM is the win, they'll probably still have to go to the final game in the SEC Tourney.
If a team doesn't think tough, practice tough, and live tough, how the hell are they gonna play tough on Saturday?

We'll have to beat OM or UF. Can't get swept by either of those teams. I could see us beating OM and playing a reasonable game versus UF.
