Told the wife it was on when the Niners scored the TD to make it 28-13. You could tell they were about to light it up. Never seen a team come out and control 2nd halves of games after getting destroyed in 1st halves like these guys. It's really amazing. I don't see Flacco finding a wide open Jones for 73 in this one... Baltimore should have at least used time outs before the warning.

What an ending. Upshaw ends up celebrating again in the Mercedes dome! Glad Ravens won. Questionable play calls from San Fran at the end, 3 passes toward Crabtree.

Really glad Upshaw & Cody got their rings... and Upshaw made a huge play in the process.

Default Upshaw has a rare opportunity.

Looks like Upshaw joins Dorsett as the 2nd NFL player to win back to back college and pro championships in the same venue!

But Upshaw is the first to do it with a 34 minute power outage :D

I don't know why this story just popped in to my head, but I think it's special given the success of CU. I might have a few of the facts in the story wrong here and there, but it went a little something like this:

The Auburn DE's name escapes me at the current moment, but I remember he tore us a new one during the Shula years (he was eventually taken by Jacksonville in the 1st round, but to my knowledge, is no longer in the NFL). Anyway, when CU was being recruited out of high school Tuberville told him he could come to Auburn and be the next (insert ex-Auburn DE's name here)...he responded by telling the Auburn coaches that he could also go to Alabama and be the next Courtney Upshaw.

I'd say he's lived up to that statement!
