Who are some of the guys that have been a part of that council in the past?

It's not something made public, so it's probably better off left unsaid here as well.

I've known guys on the team throughout the years and picked up a couple of names here and there over the last six years.

It's a group that numbers about like a starting line-up on one side of the ball—though it encompasses offense, defense, and special teams. If you take, say, a dozen guys you'd identify as the face of the program this year you'd probably get 75% of them correct. There's a couple that come to mind I haven't seen in front of the camera a lot, if any, this year.
