    Default Will Barrett Jones play?

As of last night, Barrett Jones has still not practiced. Could we possibly see Ryan Kelly play for the Championship? I was worried when we saw him on crutches after the SEC game but now I am getting concerned ..

If we believe Barrett and Saban, yes.

Not practicing really isn't that big of a deal right now. We just started game preparation yesterday on the field. He's been working out so conditioning isn't an issue. The cast is off, he's wearing a boot when he's walking around now, and started running recently.

I'd bet we see him back the first practice after the New Year's break for the players.

If I'm not mistaken, they have three more days of practice until that break.

It's all been cautionary. From what I have read about him, a herd of wild elephants couldn't keep him out of this game. I would be totally surprised if he doesn't play.

    Could we, sure...

But he did play with that injury against UGA.

He told Dari on CFB Daily that he would be fine and play in the BCSNC Game.
If a team doesn't think tough, practice tough, and live tough, how the hell are they gonna play tough on Saturday?

I can't see anyone/anything holding him back. I feel like he'd play with the flu and two broken legs!

His weekly interviews with Dari have been some great TV this past fall.

If anyone stumbles across a link to this weeks interview, link it, will ya? I missed it.

In a word, yes. Barring some unforeseen setback, he will be playing.
"He was a leader, patriotic to the core, devoted to his players, and inspired by a winning spirit that wouldn't quit. And that's how he made legends out of ordinary people. He was a true American hero, and he was Alabama's own."

-President Ronald Reagan speaking about Coach Bryant in 1984.
