The last time we visited the subject it was Kiffin changing jersey numbers during the game in an effort to trick Colorado. Yes, Colorado.

So, we move two weeks ahead and what's he done now? (OK, a football manager was the one who actually DID it. But still...smells like, looks like...)

A USC football student manager has been relieved of all duties with the Trojan football team for intentionally deflating, below NCAA-regulated levels, some game footballs used by USC's team during the first half in last Saturday's game against Oregon.

Game officials discovered and re-inflated three of the balls before the game and two others at halftime. All balls were regulation in the second half.

When informed of this allegation by the Pac-12, USC investigated it immediately. The student manager confirmed that he had, without the knowledge of, or instruction from, any USC student-athlete, coach, staff member or administrator, deflated those game balls after they had been tested and approved by officials prior to the game.

As a result, the Pac-12 reprimanded USC and imposed a fine.

Kiffin really does have the mentality of a child. Not sure WHY someone would go to such lengths as to deflate balls, but you can't sit there and make me think that Kiffin didn't have something to do with it.

Pete Thamel posted an article on SI the other day about Lane. I think the Kiffin's have worn out their welcome - do you keep them around for a few years during scholarship reductions, then send them on their way when the things open up...

No one believes a student manager thought this up by himself. I'll bet pretty boy QB had something to do with it.

Not to digress from the topic at hand but have you heard what the letters USC really stands for? University of Spoiled Children. That's why Lane fits in so well.

But, but, but...the student manager claimed it was all his idea. You know, like the girls at UT claimed they were just traveling around when they ended up at South Carolina high school football games.

Just because Kiffin lied about voting his team #1, and then pulled the jersey switch, that's certainly not reason to suspect anything other than all of these instances are just coincidental.

I wonder how long USC will keep up with this joke. NCAA needs to look into Lane Kiffin's recruiting, I would not be the least bit surprised if some players accepted improper benefits.
