    Default Favorite NFL team

I'm not sure how many of you are actual fans of an team from the NFL and support them the way you do Alabama, and I know with many of you from Alabama, with the state not having one its really just for entertainment purposes. What team do you root for and follow the most?

I follow former Tide players...whatever team they are employed by this season. Don't guess that qualifies me as a fan does it.

Same here. If I'm at home on a Sunday I won't be watching the NFL. I'll be watching games from Saturday.

Now, if in a group somewhere I'll watch with others, but my interest is knowing where a certain kid went to school and how well he did there.

I used to be a fan of the Cowboys. After Landry and Tex Schram were gone? No more. Of course as I saw more and more BS coming from the NFL players that played a large part as well.

Bingo. If I'm watching an NFL game and one team has Tide players I'll pull for that team. If both have Tide players then I'll pull for the one with starters or the most starters. LOL

But in the past few years my son (now 10) has gotten into the Falcons so lately we pull for the Falcons. I guess when I was his age I had a Steve Bartkowski jersey so it works. And when they picked Julio he ran around the house screaming in excitement. If I had video I would've sent it to Julio.

Now back in the '90's I pulled for the Chiefs due to them having my all time favorite player- Derrick Thomas.

At some places they play football, at Alabama WE LIVE IT!

Followed the Falcons when I was a kid in Birmingham and the old teams that featured the Grits Blitz. Still follow the Falcons here in GA now and like the rest, key on teams with a heavy Tide influence but all in all, nothing comes close to college football for me.

I'm not much of an NFL fan. Not counting the Super Bowl, I probably watch about 3 games a year.
I do call my self a Saints fan, because that is who I watch when I watch a game, and it's who I want to win the Super Bowl. I started pulling for them when Kenny Stabler was there, and just kind of stuck with them.
If a team doesn't think tough, practice tough, and live tough, how the hell are they gonna play tough on Saturday?

I pull for the Falcons. I've been following somewhat since they made it to the Super Bowl. The NFC championship game that year was spectacular. When Mike Smith became the head coach, I followed them even more b/c of their style of smash mouth play (I wonder why I like that so much ). But when Julio was drafted, that sealed the deal for me. I actually purchased a real jersey. That is saying A LOT for me.

If you do the same thing you've always done you'll get the same results you've always gotten.
