That's dissapointing but not entirely unexpected I guess. TM's not the first rival to post something like that and won't be the last.

TM, if you reading; I understand that you are not crazy about this member you directed the post at, and I apreciate you keeping our name out of it, but you had to know that it would make it back here. I feel like when you call him out, then you're calling all of us out. I'm very dissapointed about this, and it makes me wonder what else you have said.

It was pointed out to me that the post went beyond good fun and good taste and into a personal attack. I have since deleted the post with the replies still there, so it really makes no sense.

I am not too big to admit a mistake. I am not too big to accept honest criticism from a fan of a rival school.

I apologize to those that were offended.

I will say that I am more vocal about things over at aunation and my feelings toward Bama and a minority segment of your fans. Look back at my posts over there and you will find others that you don't agree with, but hopefully nothing that came across as mean spirited and as personal as this last incident.

I realize that some of you will never "trust" me, but I made that bed and I have to lie in it. It was a mistake. AUNation is a good site and that post was not representative of the people over there. If you notice, a majority of them did not respond or did so in a way that was not derogatory to that individual. If that individual saw that post, I apologize, although I know I probably hurt you in a way that a simple apology will not repair.

Not asking for any mercy, but a little understanding.

It takes a big guy to admit when he is wrong. Especially in a community in which you communicate heavily. No bones were broken(I hope) and I've posted enough on AUnation to know that Known/Major is a respectful poster on both sites. Mistakes have been made, are made, and will continue to be made until the end of time. A very wise man once said..."He that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone".

I'm not picking sides here, I'm just saying that an apology is a huge step to redemption. You are alright by me Major......if you are indeed sincere and not caving in to political correctedness.

I'm 99% sure that last word is not a word at all, so you'll have to excuse me.
